What is File Based Processing?
File Based Processing software is a high-integrity document processing solution paired with an FP Folder Inserter. It meets the strict compliancy requirements such as HIPAA and GLBA, so companies can be completely confident in the integrity of their business-critical documents. With features like document tracking, status updates, and reporting, File Based Processing ensures security, privacy, and provides evidence that the entire mail run was processed and completed without errors.
Document tracking and reporting for complete visibility
File Based Processing tracks every document being processed so you have full visibility of which documents are completed, still being processed, or waiting to be processed. Along with the full job status visibility, you can also view reports for each of these steps in the mail run.
How it works
After an external software, such as FP’s FlexStream Software serializes and prints the documents, it creates the job reference file. The file is sent to the File Based Processing software never leaving your local network. After the printed documents are loaded into the Folder Inserter, each sheet and insert is tracked, verified, accumulated, folded, inserted, sealed, exited, then a time and date stamp of the completion is recorded.
